ABOUT EDUCATOR (IITian Abhishek Chawla)
EWG’s English coach, Mr. Abhishek Chawla is an IITian. He has done engineering from IIT Roorkee. Mr. Abhishek Chawla is highly passionate about four things. He calls these four things as four aces of his life. Abhishek Sir’s four aces are English, Maths, Technology and Teaching. After completing engineering from IIT Roorkee, he worked for a year in the software sector. Soon, he realized that his aspirations would not be satisfied by technology alone, and therefore, he decided to take up a career that involves his life’s four aces: English, Mathematics, Technology and Teaching. So, he started his coaching institute for the preparation of engineering entrance exams in Siliguri (WB).
As a co-founder and director of the institute, he taught mathematics, delivered motivational seminars in English at various schools of the north Bengal region and used technology intensively in teaching. He was one of the most famous speakers among the students of missionary schools as these students liked his way of speaking English.
A few years after Abhishek sir started his coaching institute in Siliguri (WB), he started receiving calls from his old students. These students studied maths and science at Abhishek sir’s institute, and therefore, they were more than confident about cracking the aptitude tests which were going to be conducted at their colleges by the recruiters during placements. These old students were highly impressed by Abhishek sir’s way of speaking English, and therefore, they requested Abhishek sir to teach them to speak in English. Due to Abhishek sir’s busy schedule, Abhishek sir could not entertain the request done by his old students. As a responsible teacher, Abhishek sir enquired about the faculties who taught English speaking and told his students to try those teachers. These old students of Abhishek sir tried the English teachers suggested by Abhishek sir, and most of these students could not become a fluent English speaker even after the completion of the course.
Abhishek sir was shocked due to the poor performance of the spoken English courses in the market and became worried about the career of his old students. He decided to jump into this spoken English segment. He started his research on the spoken English courses available at that time. He found a common flaw in all the spoken English courses available at that time. All those courses spent more than half of their teaching hours forcing students to mug the English grammar rules.
Here came the turning point in Abhishek sir’s life. Abhishek sir was not convinced by the teaching methods dominant in the market at that time. He studied many American research papers on English speaking and got inspired to create a new and effective method to teach students to transform them into a fluent English speaker.
He founded EWG in 2018 and developed an innovative teaching method to teach English speaking at EWG labs. To know the details of Abhishek sir’s innovative teaching method, refer to the text and videos posted on the home page of this website.

EWG’s chief, Mr. Abhishek Chawla, is an IITian by qualification and is an English coach for the last ten years. He has done engineering from IIT Roorkee. WHAT WE DO ?
At EWG labs, EWG’s chief, Mr. Abhishek Chawla, and his team have developed a bundle of seven digital courses to teach English speaking. The unique selling point of EWG’s bundle of 7 courses is that the student need not bear any pain of mugging grammar rules to become a fluent English speaker. EWG believes that learning English grammar by mugging grammar rules will force the students to think about English grammar rules before speaking English, and therefore, the students will be unable to speak English, as nobody can think and talk simultaneously.
To become a fluent English speaker, grammatically correct English should come out of one’s mouth naturally, that is, grammatically correct English should come out without thinking about English grammar rules. This spontaneity in English speaking can be achieved by EWG’s bundle of seven courses based on EWG’s three teaching principles derived from American research.
